Here it is, the "60's futuristic" Kyoto Tower. Same for the Tokyo tower, it is more impressive at night time than in daylight. It's 131m high (with the public observatory at 100m) and was constructed in 1964 on the top of a building hosting a hotel and several stores.
10.Station * The Kyoto Station.
Opened in 1997, in spite of many complaints because of the high contrast against the traditional style aspect of the most of the city, it exhibits some futurism features, with a slightly irregular cubic facade of plate glass over a steel frame. The architect was Hiroshi Hara.
