The Daibutsuden (also known as Kon-do) is the main building of Todai-ji temple. It's known as the largest wooden structure in the world (just look at the people near the gates).
Even more impressive is the fact that this is a reconstruction from 1709, after the previous installment burned to ground, and it's only two third of the original size. Moreover, the original complex also included two 100m high wooden pagoda at both sides, which eventually were destroyed by an earthquake. They were easily the tallest buildings in the world at that time.
We are in front of some all-time history wonder here, and in fact Todai-ji is one of the most significant temples in Japan. As well as the Nandaimon gate, the Daibutsuden is classified as National Treasure.
