33.Chrysantemums * These flowers were given bu the chrysantemum flower groups, whose relationship with MEIJI JINGU run deep, to celebrate the festival of MEIJI JINGU.
The chrysantemum flower is a perennial plant that has a long tradition in Japan. It was largely improved about 300 years ago, and became a flower of appreciation.
There are many kinds of chrysantemum flowers. There are white, yellow, pibnk and red variations of the flower, whose size too, may vary from large to small.
They need so much water that it is necessary to water them twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. Much effort is needed to cultivate the flower. The shape of the chrysantemum represents the Imperial Family. * 2628 x 1752 * (698KB)
