The main hall. The Kyoto station is 470 meters long from east to west (the length you're seeing in the photo, from about the middle) and 70m high.

03.Kyoto.Tower * Here it is, the 60's futuristic Kyoto Tower. Same for the Tokyo tower, it is more impressive at night time than in daylight. It's 131m high (with the public observatory at 100m) and was constructed in 1964 on the top of a building hosting a hotel and several stores. * 2009 x 2848 * (1.14MB)
